SITE-The site is a temple
of Godess Durga.The
statue is in the
form of Pindi (round
mud blocks covered
with metallick sheet
usually brass). It
is called Manaeen
maa.
Local
say is that
once upon a
time people of the region
fell victim of diarrhoea,
plague etc. They were living the
place.In the meantime
some peole were
intuicedto remember godessDurga. A few
were inspired by
inner thought (man)
not to leave
the place but
to establish
Godess Durga
symbol, as Pindi
and worship her .This
way the temple
was constructed, ailments were
removed and the
region was freed from
natural anger. Many persons
were cured of
the deases by
worshipping the godess
and the temple
got confirmed recognition
by the
devotees.
