ABOUT  THE  SITE-The  site  is  a  picnic  spot  for  the  local  peopleThe  fountain  falls from  the  Kaimur  hills  donward  to   downward  to  discharge  into  the big  stream  the  river  Kao specially  during  rainy  season  provides  a  gorgeous and  splendid  scenario.The  undulatory  and  zig  zag  nature  of  rocky  profile  of  this  place  has

given  origin  of  five  .rivers  in  the  region.They  are  Gopath  in  West,Barua  in  South

Kachuar  in  East  and  Kudra   and  Kao  in  North  Water  rolls  around  undulatory  foot

Hills  near  village  Manjhar.It  gives  creation  of  ditches  and  collection  of  water  in  them   forming  kunds  and  ponds  of  various  sizes This  gives  a  soothing  view  added

With  the  greens  of  the  jungleIt  is  at  20  to  22  feet  height  from  the  ground  level.

OTHER   SITES—Sitakund  and  Dhua  kunds  are  similar  water  falls  close  to  this.

FESTIVITY—First  Sunday  after  Raksha bandhan  or  Shrawani  purnima  invites  a 

Gathering  of  about  50000  people   forming  big  fair.

PRECAUTION—Naxal  affected  area  but  thy  have  no  problem  with  the  general

peopleThe  difficulty  arises  when  people  from  nearby  rivalries  come  in  the  crowd.
