SITE --The site
Maner township is
famous for old
establishments of
sufi saints.Now their
tombs have become place
of worship and
visitors attraction. Famous
among these is
the tomb of
Hazrat Makhdum
Ahmad Ahyaum Maneri or
Makdum Yahika

dargah and 2nd is
tomb of Makdum
shah

HISTORICAL—Maner was
being ruled by a king maner
in12th century.
One sufi
saint Hazrat Momin Arif came from Arab during that time. After
That one Maulana
Sayed came and
defeated the Hndu
king.and Maner
went in
hands of muslim
ruler. Bakhtiar Khilji
concurred it in
1118 and
handed over
ruling authority to Hazrat
Makdum Ahmad Ahyam Maneri.He was
third generation of
the sufi saint
who came 12th
century He was
engrossed with heavenly
powers with blessings of
Allah,the god.which was
utilized by him for
social services and curing
people of their
miseries and ailments Makdum shah
Daulat was 9th
generation desendant of
the same dynasty.He
was also vested
with occult powers
which he utilized
in social services
and curing ailing
people.
On the same count the worship of these two saints still bestows blessing to those who come to worship their tomb by flower, lohban
Agarbati and
cloth cover etc.
