About the site---The site is temple of goddess sati or Durga as sub power spot,It is said that right cheek of Sati Burnt body fell down here after it was cut into pieces by Sudarsan chakra of Lord Vishnu.

The Temple premises have its own Garden and is by the side of the Gandak river on Muzaffarpur Motihari road NH28 Till1957 killing of goat was an important feature of worship at the temple. But now worship is done by sweets and flowers.The statue of marble in the temple is said to be found by a trader in river flood who later got it established in the temple .
