About the site –The site is a temple of Kapal kal Bhairo. The temple premises was spreading over in an area of 5 acres. But now it is in small area.The well in the SE corner of the temple certifies it to be of higher tantrik place.Besides it there are remnants artistic stone sculpture there. Important among them is Sidhak Pavan Yantra.

The site is situated in Akash ganga area on Godawari road on the foot hills Godawari Pahari, a lower part of the famous Brahmjoni hill. Among 24 religious sectors of Gaya this Bhairo asthan region is in Godawari Kashi khand sector.

There are eight forms of tantras which are expressed here at this place.The Rudrak pal Sadhana has also connection with Bhairo hill of Ujjain.

FESTIVITY—Marg shirs (Magh Krishna asthami is celebrated as main Bhairo jayanti. Besides it Vishnupad darsan on Sunday and Mangala gauri worship on Tuesday attracts the devotees to Kal Bhairo also.
