ABOUT THE  SITE –The site  is situated on NH -31.It is 30km
From Bakhtiarpur and 25km from Rajgir. It has remained a place of Sufi saints. Their memorials in the form of Makbaras and Dargah still exist in the city.
Bari dargah-It is situated  by the side of the river on hill slope.The Mazar of Makhdum Shah Sharfudin on whose name the city derives its name  was built in 1569.He died in 1379.His yearly Urs festival is celebrated on 5th  of Shrawan month.
Choti Dargah-It is situated in Ambar mohala of the town.It is an old and very big tomb. Makhdum Sultan Saiad shah Ahmad Charampose Tang
Barahna Rahamtula Allaih He was important saint of 13th century. He was born in 1236 and died in 1335. A few story of his occult power is famous in the area, One is while he was on tour of Tibet he was tried to be  disturbed by the locals there. He simply raised his one finger and the chief of the offender group fell down on the earth.So he was named Teg Barhana( sord out of Sord bag). He was always wearing a skin of goat . So the sir name  Chrampose.
3 Tomb of Badrudin Badar Alam –It is also located near Bari Dargah.
4 Tomb of IBRAHIM Bayu-It is situated 1km north of the town on the Qurtzite hill.This saint died  here on 1353. It is under security monument of ASI.
