ABOUT THE SITE__The site is situated little west of Gandhi maidan at about ¼ km It is a big

ellip known as Golghar. It is
one of the oldest attractions of
tourists coming to Patna Height of the
dome from the ground level including
basal platform is 1oo’It has two
ways steps to rise up to the
top and come down .
Number of steps is about 142 in both the sides. The rising steps have projected Balconys at regular intervals to take rest and enjoy view of town scenery and The Ganges. It was built in 1786 as godown for grains . It is about 100 metre south of the Ganges .
